I needed a way to softly probe some electrical contacts. These did the trick.

These work just fine.

These test probes are solid and well made. Their shape is good for contacting pads without damaging them.
For those of you wondering if you want to use these for programming – it works fine. However – and this is not a fault of the product – the round point makes it a tad bit harder to get a good electrical contact. However the round point doesn’t damage the pad. It’s a trade off you have to decide on.
Other notes:
Does not fit in a 0.1″ pitch header. I was being ambitious.
Don’t bend it – it breaks on the seam they put in to hold all the parts together.
Overall it’s a great product – use as directed and you won’t have any issues.
